I went to install this on my ar the pins stick out about a 1/8 of an inch on both sides of the lower. Is this how its designed or is this a problem? — 1 Answer

You bought the wrong kit. This kit is specifically for the polymer lower receiver of the Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22
