Is there any difference between the eyecups on the Genesis 8x33 and the new BD2 XD 8x32? The BD2 eyecups fit perfectly but looking in $1K range. — 1 Answer

The Genesis and BD II XD are going to share a lot of details and features in the glass, Schmidt-Pechan Roof Prism Lens, Coatings, and twist-up eyecups. Where the Genesis sets itself apart in being a superior product is in the Phase Coating on the Schmidt-Pechan Roof Prism that greatly enhances the contrast of what you're seeing.
