For the 824M scope it would depend on the eyepiece they have. If they have the TSE-7Z, 21WE, or 14WE (the common eyepieces for this model) they could purchase a phone adaptor but would also need a TSN-AR66Z if they have the TSE-7Z or the TSN-AR66HL if hey have the TSE-21WE or 14WE.
The TSN-PA8 for DSLR would work with the scope if they have the TSE-7Z or 4Z.
