Is this large or small primer size

The primer for 308 can be for either one. That all depends what your going to do with it. If your going out hunting large primer while everything else you do is smaller primer. Now some brass will take small or larger primer depends on who makes the brass.

These particular Lapua 308Win casings are large primer pockets with no primers installed. The small primer pocket version of Lapua 308Win casings are called "308Win Palma"
