Unfortunately, it is not a QD attachment point. There is a QD point on the bottom of the unit, but the hole on the rear is not a QD point.

No, the hole is there so you can add your own end plate for qd if you want.

No, but there is a QD attachment point that I've used on this exact folding adapter. It is underneath the half of the adapter that is secured to the lower receiver. It works well with my Magpul QD sling.
