I opted for an UltiMAK Picatinny rail replacement hand guard. (Mainly because I thought this mount would sit higher than a GI mount.) I have a GI Issue mount with a Leatherwood scope on an M1A1 Loaded. (It is a heavier gun, the Norinco is light and I have a MePro M 21 sight all the way forward.) I have owned both these rifles since 1995, they are both practically brand new. I have only feed the M1A1 8 rounds to sight it in. I carried an M-14 in the Marine Corps. Now I work out with it everyday for muscle memory.

Absolutely, the Norinco is a counterfeit Springfield M1a, so it and just about everything else will fit like the real deal. I've owned Chicom weapons and they were mostly exactly the same, the problem is the slave labor have no desire to do good work on most weapons
