Per Leapers, the unit has an Illumination Enhancing (IE) System with Red/Green Dual-Color Mode and 36 Color Multi-Color Mode to Accommodate All Weather/Light Conditions.

what size is the eye flip up cap piece measurement?

That lens cap has an internal diameter of 41mm.

How would this scope hold up on a semi-auto in .308?
