Would this scope work on an AR-10, semi-auto .308?

Yes, it would, but if you wanted to have the custom drop compensation turret for .308 you would need to get a custom made turret direct from Leupold.

Will this scope function well on my Ruger Predator 6.5 Creedmoor - recoil, bullet drop calcs etc thanks for your response (at your convenience)

While it will work on a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, the P5 turret included is a 5.56 calibrated turret. You would need to get a turret custom made by Leupold to match your 6.5 Creedmoor or you could just use the standard measurements like what is found on 99% of other rifle scopes.

Would this work / hold up to a 7mm Rem Mag? I have one on my Colt 6940 and really like it.

Yes, this scope will work and hold up to the recoil of a 7mm Rem Mag.
