I got my SX4 Pro guide 20-60 x 85 direct from Leupold, the sticker on the base of the scope say “made in China”

according to leupold's website, "The SX-4 Pro Guide HD spotting scopes are manufactured in China."

I have emailed Leupold and they emailed me back with there Manufactured in Japan
