The Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x40mm Rifle Scope has an objective diameter of 1.83", with a 40mm or 1.57" lens.

The Butler Creek Flip-Open Scope Covers will work for the Leupold VX-Freedom 4-12x40mm Rifle Scope. For the objective lens you will need size 27 and for the eyepiece you will need size 13. This covers can be found at the two links below.

All it says in the description is that is a creedmore reticle. Is that 6.5 creedmore? And if so, what barrel length is the reticle set up for?

Ballistics are pre-calculated, allowing for accurate holdovers at maximum magnification
Quick target acquisition with thin lines at the center
First hold-over: 300 yards
Second hold-over: 400 yards
Bottom post: 500 yards

The Leupold website says part number 175079 is a second focal plane but optics Planet has it listed as a ffp. Am I missing something?

shooting at a 300 yd target and looking thru this scope how far does the target look in yards.

The linear FOV at 100yds is 11.2 feet. The angular FOV at 100 yards is 2.1 feet.

What size Butler creek eyepiece cover and objective lense covers does this scope use?

Butler Creek really doesn't have any covers that are going to fit the VX-Freedom 4-12x40 eyepiece or objective lens housings very well. I would recommend the Leupold Alumina lens covers for a perfect fit.
