from an engineering standpoint it would make sense to have threads molded into the well but that would imply using only one type of swivel assembly. Attempting to screw a threaded piece of metal into molded plastic on the other hand is not an exact science and the outcome is less than perfect. It dawns upon me that this was the intent, to screw the threaded barrel into the well port and be as precise as possible. I'm personally a bit of a perfectionist so I was not happy with this method. I love the push button swivel but the whole idea makes me cringe..
