What do I need with this hand primer to prime 12 gage with large pistol primers

In order to use this priming tool a shell holder compatible with the caliber you are loading is required. According to Lyman customer service they do not offer a shell holder compatible with 12 gauge so you would not be able to use this hand primer to prime 12 gauge shells.

This is for metallic rifle and pistol cases, not shotgun shells.
