No, this is for AR-10/308 rifles. The Ruger Gunsite Scout uses AICS compatible magazines, so you would need item MAG579 on this page instead: https://www.opticsplanet.com/magpul-industries-pmag-7-62-ac-aics-short-action-magazine-7-62x51mm-nato.html?_iv_magazine-capacity=10-rounds however that will not work in the Springfield M1A either.
