AR10 models come with a variety of buffer tubes. It will be compatible as long as you verify your current buffer tube is either an A2, mil-spec carbine, or A5 buffer tube or replace it with one of those options.

Won't fit an aero precision mil spec carbine buffer tube, no room to fit around the threads and therefore snug against the plate.
