In short, the answer is no. The buffer tube may thread on, but the length of the tube is designed to accommodate AR-15 length bolt carrier groups - the additional length of the AR-10 BCG could cause some serious issues. To go even further, Maxim provides a standard 3.3 oz. buffer and spring with this kit - incompatible with the AR-10 platform. Even the heavier buffer weights Maxim has available do not match up to meet the standard 5.4 oz. weight of the AR-10.
