No, this does not work with the SRS. Maybe the 'new' BCG is different from the 'demo' BCG, but on my demo, the inner diameter of the main part of the carrier is too small for the head screw on the SRS. But you can't grind down the head screw to fit (as Armaspec told me I could do), because it grabs an edge less than 1mm wide in the buffer weight.
It will not work with the Armaspec SRS - 9mm. The back of the bcg (where the weighted plug sits) tappers down and gets to narrow for the SRS to fit. Trust me, I bought both the bcg and SRS, and I now have to return the SRS.
