Great question! Ruger chambers their 6.5 PRC rifle in long-action receivers, and the go-to magazine for a long-action Ruger American build in 6.5 PRC will be the 300WM magazine in the 3.715 length. You will want to keep your cartridge's overall length at 3.1 inches or greater, if possible, for the most reliable feeding.
