Does this sights works with XDM Elite 4.5 OSP?

The only XD that has a proprietary cut is the Springfield XDM 5.25”, outside of that, all XD's are the same dovetail cut so this front sight will fit.
The height of just the post of this sight is .1545"

Is the meprolight front sight height same as the factory Springfield XDM front sight height?

No, night sights are typically just a bit higher in order to fit the tritium vial in the sight. This is why it is usually recommended to buy them in a set to ensure proper sight height.
