Is this a molle vest? Can the pouches and holster be removed?

This is not a MOLLE vest. Only the pistol holster can be removed.

This vest does not have any interior pockets/pouches and there is not a compartment for a hydration bladder.

Can the pistol holster be removed and replaced with a holster designed with one specifically designed for the pistol I want to carry?

Yes, the pistol holster can be removed. To mount a different holster, you will need to be sure that the new holster is able to attach to the style of webbing on this vest, as it is not standard MOLLE.
