They are "assembled" in China but the optics are made in Japan.
Mueller does not specify a recoil rating, please contact them directly for further assistance.
Mueller provides a limited lifetime warranty. It does a fair job of light gathering in low light situations.
This is a second focal plane optic. The mil-dot pattern will look the same at all magnifications. i.e. It will not enlarge when you increase the magnification. The description says "Mil-dot Reticle (accurate milling based on 10x)" that means the mil dots are mathematically correct at 10X but not at other magnifications.
The turrets can be set to zero once the riflescope has been zeroed. So the rifle scope is zeroed and then the top turret screw is removed. This allows the user to pull the turret off and set the turret's "0" marking to the zero you have set. From there, if the user moves or adjusts the turret it can be set back to zero by lining up the "0" marking on the turret.
Unfortunately the turrets are not zero-resettable.
