Dose TSA have a problem with bag as a carry on

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Mark H., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on September 26, 2019

I can't speak for the TSA, but I would think it would depend more on what's IN the bag.

I've carried a 5.11 Rush 24 backpack in Multicam on airlines for years, and the only incident was being pulled out of line for express check in because "we take care of our military passengers".

I suppose the Multicam and crewcut helped, but as an overweight 59 year old, who am I to argue with TSA?

Mark H.
