With NV goggles, will I see a laser to the target or just a green dot where it's pointing?

You will see a straight line between laser and target and also from the target looking back to the laser ( obviously not looking directly up the beam unless you want to burn up your NV gear and maybe your retinas !) , the laser was in a 2' dia ball of light! Obviously needs the remote pressure switch if the target is also using NV gear!

Can this be used on AR-15? Saw something similar and reviews said it was strictly for paint ball or air soft guns.

After looking more into this product, I do not see anything that mentions anything about this being strictly for paintball or soft guns only. You can always reach out to NCstar directly for more information.

What is the operating temperature range for the green and IR lasers?

Unfortunately NcStar has not provided an operating temperature range for these as they are not intended for military/tactical/law enforcement use.
