Are there any videos or instructions available that can be looked at ?

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not have any videos or instructions, however I have installed one of these on one of my 1911 pistols. It's fairly simply, you just remove the two hex screws (one from each side), put the two halves around the trigger guard (making sure the top part of the rail sits around the frame), and then screw in the hex screws again until tight.

Unfortunately this will not fit .45 Glock pistols, it will only work on 9mm/.40 Glock pistols.
