Yes, all of our scopes are rated for heavy recoil up to 50BMG.
this was designed for a good replacement for the Eotech and 3x combo. it has a reticle that's brighter then any other and that's because it also acts as a red dot. My best example a gun you would use this for is the mark18, any of the sbr 300 black outs, possibly some shotguns like the keltec ks7 or ksg, due to it's weight you can mount it on a shot gun, you would not want to mount a heavier optic I. ine if those you get the tip over feeling. best round to shoot this with is 9mm, 556 or 300 blackout. small bottle neck rounds work like the mp7 22wmr. you can use it with a. 22 but I doubt anyone would pay this much. it works great with the Sig MCX the Springfield 556 Hellfire bullpup the Favor group of guns, when going large caliber I assuming you have a long rifle unless you have the 458 socom but still there are better options for longer rifles. Vortex razor, viper, Atacre, most serious shooters with big round rifles know which brands to use. for Sniper Night force has a selection of much more useful optics and so does Leopold
I would not use this scope for that. I know it can handle it but it's just not did that. I suggest an elcan spectre.
