Our rings are designed to be installed on a picatinny rail. with a 50mm objective (59mm actual outside diameter) we recommend 1" medium height rings such as the A101.
Our recommendation would be the A107 1.125" high rings. The A101 Medium may work but there may be interference between the bolt handle and the eyepiece.
We recommend running the 1" Medium rings (part number: A101) for this setup.
If the diameter of your barrel is .825" or smaller (Sendero Style), you can go with the .885" Low rings- Part number A118
If the diameter of the barrel is over .825", you will have to go with the 1" Medium rings- Part number A101
We would recommend the medium rings as long as it allows for your desired eye relief without the objective hitting the picatinny mount.
If your Model 70 has the standard sporter profile barrel, you could go as low as our 0.885" rings (part number A118). However, ring height is very subjective and the most important thing is to be able to have a comfortable and consistent cheek-weld. Typical ring mounting heights for that type of setup are low (.885", SKU A118), medium (1", SKU A101), or high (1.125", SKU A107).
That would depend on the size of your objective lens and whether the handguard goes over the barrel on yours. Safely for a 56mm objective would be fine in 1.375" rings
Not knowing for sure what the diameter of that specific barrel is, we'll have to give you the information below. Our recommendations are based on maintaining a 1/8" clearance.
If the diameter of your barrel is .825" or smaller (Sendero Style), you can go with the 1" Medium rings- Part number A101
If the diameter of the barrel is over .825", you will have to go with the 1.125" High rings- Part number A107
Not knowing for sure what the diameter of that specific barrel is, we'll have to give you the information below. This is accurate for both optic models. Also, our rings will require a 1913 Mil Standard Picatinny rail to be mounted to.
If the diameter of your barrel is .825 or smaller (Sendero Style), you can go with the .885" Low rings- Part number A118
If the diameter of the barrel is over .825, you will have to go with the 1" Medium rings- Part number A101
For that set up we would recommend a ring height of 1.00".
