Those should work great unless you are mounting on an AR style or flat top rifle. If that is the case, you will need to go to at least 1.375"

Nightforce Optics manufactures rings for 30mm or 34mm optics. We do not manufacture rings for an optic that has a 1" bodytube.

Will the medium rings fit a 4x16x44 scope with a 30mm tube

Unless your optic is going on a flat top rifle like an AR platform, then yes the 1" Medium 30 mm rings will fit your optic. If it is a flat top platform then you will want to go with 1.375" or higher.

What is the best height set up for rings using Nightforce NXS 5.5-22X56 with Tikka T3X Tac A1?

The correct height on that setup would be 1.5". If you wanted to go with rings, we'd suggest the 1.5" XX-High Rings (part number A203). If that continuous pic rail does not have any built in taper and you wanted to add taper to the setup, you could run the 1.5" Unimount with 20moa of taper (part number A221).

We do not have an option for a DE ring in a 1.125" height at this time.
