Dose it fit cruiser 88 — 1 Answer

The Nightstick SFL Series will fit the Maverick 88 (12ga), but it will require components that are not included with the purchase but are readily available in the market. Please note that the Maverick 88 has a Forend that is pinned to the Action Tube and designed so that it cannot be removed from the Action Tube. Additionally, the Maverick 88 does not have an Action Tube Nut. Therefore, you cannot put one of the Nightstick SFLs onto an unmodified Maverick 88.

However, there is a way to make it work.
1. You’ll need to purchase a 7 ¾” Mossberg 500 Action Tube and a Mossberg 500 Action Tube Nut. This is not a component that Nightstick offers, but you may be able to find online.
2. Once you have these 2 components… You will need to disassemble the Maverick 88 by removing the Maverick 88 Forend/Action Tube and replacing it with the Mossberg 500 Action Tube.
3. Our SFL will then mount the same way as normal
4. Use the newly purchased Mossberg 500 Action Tube Nut to secure the SFL to the body.
