The Savage Arms B17 FV comes with Weaver mounts on the receiver. You need to grab some compatible rings (mid or high rings) so the bolt will clear the reticle when cocking the bolt. Low rings will hit the reticle, I think 11mm is the minimum rise required to not hit the scope. That should be all that is needed to mount and set your zero with the new glass!!! Good luck.
