No, this is for full size M&P models. Taran Tactical does not currently produce pads for compact M&P models.

Will this fit a Smith M&P .40 Compact (12rd)? Why would it not fit the compact model when it is just 2/3round short than the full size?

Taran Tactical Innovations states their M&P Base Pad and Spring is NOT compatible with compact models. I would recommend contacting them directly for more information.

No. This Taran Tactical Innovations M&P Base Pad and Spring is designed for full size M&P (as well as the 2.0) 9mm and .40 cal magazines.

This for a double stack magazine for the full size M&P 9/40 line. There is no magazine with these pad extensions.

No, this for Smith & Wesson M&P 9/40 firearms. Taran Tactical does not currently produce pads for the Tanfoglios.
