The manufacturer does not state a recoil or cartridge limit for the OMEGA III Mil-Dot Sight 35374. The manufacturer states that the OMEGA III Mil-Dot Sight 35374 can be used on any rifle, pistol, or shotgun with a picatinny rail scope base.

How well can you see the target in low-light situations? As compared to a traditional scope?

can you save your reticle settings and move from crossbow to rifle?

If you remove the OMEGA III Mil-Dot Sight from a device then place on another device and vice versa you will need to sight the rifle or crossbow back in with the OMEGA III Mil-Dot Sight.
