This red dot will work with just about any caliber or rifle, so it should work fine on your AR-10.

Does this fit on a M & P Shield 9mm out of the box, or do I need to purchase a rail system ? THX Mike

This sight requires a picatinny or weaver rail to mount, so you would need a rail adapter of some sort on your S&W M&P Shield.

Will this fit a S&W Performance CORE pistol?

It will only mount to a picatinny or weaver rail installed on the top of the slide. Unfortunately, none of the stock mounting plates that come with the Core would be compatible.

It will only mount to picatinny and weaver style rails. If you have one installed, it would work but the Glock 26 Gen4 does not have one standard.
