Yes, these are slightly longer than a mil-spec button due to the face being a solid surface with a grip texture, while maintaining the same amount of threads. OAL of the PMR is .372" vs the mil-spec button .295"

Yes, they will protrude over the raised fence on the lower, which runs the risk of accidental release of the magazine. Blind hole buttons should not be used with Mil-Spec bars. This button might work better in conjunction with a Battle Arms Development EMC or Forward Controls Designs LMC, which are shorter by a full turn.

Yes. After it’s fully seated, it sticks out quite a bit more than other mag release buttons.
