Is the beam fixed or can it be adjusted from pinpoint to broad spread\???

You can adjust the brightness, but you cannot adjust the beam itself.

Does the kit that comes with the green/red/white light Night Raid Max Kit come with the remote tail switch like it says on the MFGR site? Not clear

No, the kit 97426 does not include the remote tail switch.
