The Premier Body Armor Eagle Tactical Vest cummerbund does not have Level IIIA soft panels.

What size are the additional plate pockets? Would like to be able to add level 4 ceramic plates.

The Premier Body Armor Eagle Tactical Vest w/ Level IIIA Soft Panels plate pockets will accommodate 10"x12" plates.

Does the best come with plates also is the vest also built proof up to a certain caliber without plates front and back ?

This vest includes Level IIIA Soft Panels. Front and rear plate pockets accommodate optional Level III rifle rated plates. Armor with this rating is capable of protecting against .44 Magnum or 9mm submachine gun ammunition.
