It should work however may require fitting as it is not an exact replica MP5.

NO! This will not fit the GSG 522, idk about the GSG 16, but they are both suppose to be ALLOT alike and the portion under the barrel where this will attach is likely the same. I couldn't even fabricate it to fit, its literally impossible to mount this to a GSG-522.
