Yes, .233 wylde is 5.56 compatible. I own the MK111 Mod 1 and MK114 Mod 1 and shoot both .223 and 5.56. This upper is amazing with suppressors.

Yes. 223 wylde chambered barrels means it will shoot both .223 & 5.56 The tolerance for .223 is a little loose and for 5.56 is tighter. The guy designed it to be a better overall shooter for common shooters. Better accuracy overall in either caliber. There is no specific round called .223 wylde. So whether you have .223 stock piled or 5.56 or BOTH.. a barrel chambered in .223 wylde will eat both and ask for seconds.

short answer is yes! .223 Wylde chamber is cut slightly different allowing it to shoot both and with better accuracy! what I've read is that there is no "jump" when the bullet is fired... meaning the bullet has full contact the entire time and there is no gap between bullet and barrel. resulting in full control of the bullet and better accuracy!
