I have a 1917 Erfurt in 30-06 and had to trim a lot around the base of the barrel, but I was able to free float the entire length. It's nothing a dremel can't handle.
I have a Santa Fe Mauser chambered in 30-06 just installed it and works great!
I have a Danzig 1911 which was apparently re-tooled for 30-06 at Rock Island Armory later on. This info according to a local gunsmith with some Mauser knowledge.
I dropped it on this stock with a small amount of modification around where the front of the breech meets the thickest part of the barrel.
The 30-06 rounds operate like this stock was made for it.
Hello, it will work with some trimming around the barrel towards the action. it’s really not a lot of work and well worth it
