How high an optic will it support? I.E. can you use a tall 50 or 56mm scope?

The ProMag Ruger 10/22 Archangel Deluxe Target Stock will not contribute to the objective lens size that could be used with your rifle. You can fit a 56mm objective lens if you use the correct height rings as they will be responsible for providing clearance. Email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com for more information.

Yes, the ProMag Ruger 10/22 Archangel Deluxe Target Stock will accommodate OEM barrels as well as barrel contours up to .920".

It says this stock is designed for use with optics. Will it be a problem shooting with the standard iron sights?

The ProMag Ruger 10/22 Archangel Deluxe Target Stock will work fine if you are using standard iron sights. The way ProMag designed the stock, it is supposed to allow for a better cheek rest for looking through your optic, which will also apply to iron sights as well.

Yes. The ProMag Ruger 10/22 Archangel Deluxe Target Stock will fit the Ruger 10/22 model 1256. However, due to firearm manufacturers tolerances or over sized aftermarket triggers, very minor fitting may be required.
