458 socom ar's are made for the ar 15 platform. Same magazines and lower parts. THe only differences is the bolt, barrel and an enlarge ejection port.

No, the .458 SOCOM is based on the AR15 platform. The upper is a modified AR15 upper. The modification is an enlarged ejection port to allow the larger case to be ejected.
