Do I need a cross bar adapter for a step through electic bike with this model bike rack?

No, this bike rack does not interact with the cross bar, it will grasp the tires to secure the bike.

Does this fit a two inch hitch? What is the weight capacity per bike? Can it fit 4 inch tires?

This rack has a total weight capacity of 145 lbs and does mount to a 2" hitch.

What’s the diff. between the 184 and 192? What’s the weight limit for the 192?

The R192 has a different method of collapsing for storage. The weight limit on the R192 is 150 lbs.
