Is the illumination daylight bright?

No, it is not even daylight visible. There is a light leakage at 1X on every scope unless go above 1.5X. I’m sure they will discontinue this model which they should had.

The previous Mod7 version of this scope list a FOV at 143ft, and this one, the new model, list 105ft. Is this correct, and if so, what changed?

The FOV for the Riton X7 Tactix and the Mod 7 1-8x28mm is 105.8ft-13.1ft @ 100 yds.
