This choke is for .410 shot shells, it is not for use with .45 long colt.

Due to the barrel being rifle for the use of 45 long colt it spins the wad used in shotshells. The spin causes the shot to spread inconsistently. The of this choke is to stop the spin of the wad and create tighter groups. Use of this with the 45 colt would cause catastrophic failure and damage to your barrel.
