Ruger Model: 26965 is listed as being compatible with AR style magazines and will use any standard .223/5.56 AR mag like Magpul or Daniel defense. Ruger Model: 6965 will use their standard rotary magazines and will use the MPN: 90440 found on this page. Ruger Model 6965 is not compatible with AR style magazines because it does not have the side magazine release button and uses the standard magazine paddle release that is found on MPN: 90440.
