So, the specs say rifle sight, but photo shows bead sight. Exactly what sight does this barrel really have? Thanks.

Expert Answer

Answered by Jonathan D., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on June 18, 2019

This is an un-ribbed barrel with rifle sights on it. Unfortunately manufacturers frequently only send us one image for an entire product line, so the images are not always of the exact item. I apologize for any confusion.

It says the barrel length is 21”, but the Remington website lists their 20ga 870 express turkey barrel as a 20” barrel with rifle sights.

The barrel length of 20" is based on the length when installed on the gun, however the overall length including the part that goes into the receiver is 21". This is why we list it as 21" and 20" both on this page.

I have a 12 ga Remington express pump.will a 20 ga. barrel fit on this gun?

Expert Answer

Answered by Ethan C., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on December 30, 2017

Remington 870 Express 20ga barrels will not work on a 12ga shotgun with the exception of some older Remington x/n numbered ending serial number models when the 20ga was built off the 12ga receivers. More modern versions of the gun are not built off the same receiver.
