will the 9 ex midlength fit a 16" midlength with front sight post?

The 9" Samson Evolution Series Handguard might be able to fit a 16" barrel with front sight post. You will need to remove the front sight post in order to install the handguard, but you should have enough room for the front sight after install. However, the manufacturer does stat the handguard is not compatible with bayonet lugs and sling loops.

Does the QD sling mount rotate 360 or does it have stop positions? I do not like the 360 rotating sling QD mounts? Thank you

what barrel nut do I pair this with. took this to the gunsmith and the 2 I had didn't not work, neither did the standard delta nut work?

Samson says this product works with any Milspec barrel nut.
