is this for the bottom bolt release?

The Savage Axis Trigger Guard will work with all Savage Axis Models. From what information I could find current production Savage Axis models have the top bolt release lever.

The manufacturer does not say why there is only one, but it is assumed the other would re-use a factory screw.
