How do I fold the knife once it's open?

The blade is retracted, not folded. The blade exits the grip parallel to the grip, and does not pivot. It's a lot like the German Paratrooper gravity knife, just assisted opening.

Unlike the gravity knife, you are retracting against spring pressure.

Release the lock, and pull the protuberance on the side rearwards until the blade is retracted and locks in place.
