Yes, this would fit a Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm.

I have this on one of my M&P Shields. I consider this the preferred reflex sight. I chose the 8 MOS for
self defense shooting. The dot shows instantly. Great sight! No on or off buttons. No buttons at all! Battery
last two to three years and has a drawer that comes out the side for changing the battery. I've found the best
way to zero in my red dot sights is using the SightMark bore laser (Bought it from Optics too) by simply matching
the laser dot to the red dot on the sight. I do this at fifty feet.
