yes, this optics is perfectly suited for a 308 rifle. the reticle has holdover marks at various yardages and dials will allow for perfect zero. great choice

308 has similar ballistics to 5.56, so you'll have to do a small amount of compensating, but not more than you'd do if you were shooting a heavier or slower bullet.

556 and .308 are actually so ballistically similar that this will work with a .308 gun. (Not perfectly of course, and only out to about 500)

Yes, 556 and 308 have such a similar ballistic arc they are generally considered the same reticle

No it's only available in 556 and 300blk reticle
