The SIG SAUER Kilo2400 7x25mm Advanced Ballistic System Laser Rangefinding Monocular reticle has 3 options, but the grid reticles are in MIL.

No, the Bluetooth connection is what is needed to properly use this device.

Is there a limited distance the ABS will give you a shooting solution for? The BDX works only to 800 yards.

once wind data is obtained from the iPhone app, will it automatically update the kilo's ballistic calculator data or must it be entered manually?

With the wind data in the phone and paired to the rangefinder, the holdover information will automatically update when you range a target.

Once you set the ammo profiles through your phone can the range finder give ballistic solution on its own or does it need to be linked to phone still?

You would still need your phone to provide ballistics information, the rangefinder will only display the range.
